Whiskey Creek Processing – Lunch and Learn
We’re excited to invite you to join us on our next Lunch and Learn experience here in Madill, OK.
We host groups of 10 – 12 to join us for a morning where we will walk you through the entire processing of beef. We start with the Kill Floor, demonstrating and explaining every step of the process, how we guard against contaminations, where the USDA inspector plays a crucial role, and how we ensure each animal is treated humanely and the process protects the producers investment.
Then we move to storage and butchering where we will dismantle a half beef per a customer’s order and break down all the parts. Walking you through the process, the how to and whys of each step. You’ll see first hand where each cut of meat comes from and probably even learn about cuts you weren’t aware of!
Finally we’ll wrap up our time with packaging, smoking, and quick freeze. We’ll explain how we operate each of these steps to ensure that the quality of the meat processed is maintained and protected until you, or your customers, get to take it home and experience the taste of locally raised meat.
We’ll finish with lunch served family style and talk about business development, marketing, and how to tell your story to the world.
